Standard BS/EN50075 was prepared and published by The European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC). This standard applies to flat non-rewireable two-pole Europlugs without earthing contact with a rated voltage of AC250V and a rated current of 2.5A. They are supplied with a cord, for the connection of equipment of class II, for household and similar purposes, and having no special protection against ingress of water are intended for indoor use.
Tests according to this standard includes dimensions and construction, protection against electric shock, insulation resistance and electric strength, resistance to humidity, heat and ageing, mechanical strength, resistance of insulating material to abnormal heat and to fire and etc.. Below is a table to show the testing equipment involve BS/EN50075 standards.
