Low Carbon Steel Vessels for Testing Induction Hotplates and Induction Hob Elements

1.Introduction

The low carbon steel vessels can meet the requirements of IEC60335-2-9 figure 104, IEC60335-2-6 figure 102, GB4706.14 figure 10 and GB4706.22 figure 102 for testing induction hotplates and induction hob elements.

The vessel is made of low carbon steel having a maximum carbon content of 0.08%. It is cylindrical without metallic handles or protrusions. The diameter of the flat area of the base of the vessel is to be at least the diameter cooking zone. The maximum concavity of the base of the vessel is 0.006d. The base of the vessel is not to be convex.
