Rotation Barrel for Free Fall Test

1. Introduction

Rotation barrel designs to meet the test requirements of IEC60320-1 clause 23.2 for repeat free fall test. The test is to check the mechanical strength of connectors and plug connectors, the test sample shall be subjected 500 or 100 repeat free falls. After the test, the test samples shall show no damage and no part shall have become detached or loosened which may influence the electrical safety.
